Learn Barefoot Massage

I discovered Ashiatsu Barefoot massage 10 years into my career as a bodyworker.   I found Michelle Mace of Barefoot Masters and after learning more about her teaching philosophy, I was determined to join her team. After practicing the Ashiatsu Barefoot modality for seven years, I was anxious to share the technique with other therapists in my area. Barefoot Masters’ method of teaching is incredibly efficient!

Ashiatsu Bar Basic

18 CE Hours

This course is focused on the “hands-on” technique of Ashiatsu. Ashiatsu is an art, where the feet glide effortlessly over the contours of the client’s body. The pressure can be as light as a Swedish massage or the deepest massage a therapist can give. This modality allows the massage therapist to give the wrists and hands a break during treatments, which can help reduce repetitive use injuries.

Ashi-Stretch

12 CE Hours

I have been using facilitated stretching in my massage practice for years with fabulous results. Using the overhead bars or a chair on the floor to deliver the stretches makes this type of bodywork nearly effortless! No more repetitive bending over at the waist and risking injury to your own body for some big, full-body stretches! No previous ashiatsu experience needed to attend this course
